Restaurant Review - Brio Tuscan Grille - Naples Florida
Brio Tuscan Grille
Restaurant Review by Marcy Kruchten
As you drive around the Waterside Shops of Naples, Brio stands out as the restaurant with the 16 foot hanging white canvas draped curtains, reminiscent of the Delano in South Beach. Although connected to the Waterside Shops, Brio seems like a free standing restaurant. This 306 seat restaurant was beautifully designed to include a large outdoor dining venue complete with an oval bar and four raised upholstered booths. The outdoor area also includes many bar tables and a comfortable waiting area with patio seating to have a drink while you wait for your table. There is usually a waiting list, but seating comes quickly. Reservations are taken in the restaurant, but no reservations are needed in the bar area.
The indoor Dining Room has a beautiful ambiance with its golden domed alabaster chandeliers reflecting a glowing golden light over the diners. This restaurant seems to glow from the inside out. It is flanked all around with high arches that bring the high ceilings down to create a feeling of coziness and intimacy. The open kitchen and fired ovens create a warm casualness. There are also several small more intimate private dining rooms perfect for a board meeting or private luncheon. The stone floors complete the feeing of being in Tuscany as that is what Brio calls itself, A Tuscan Grille.
Wednesday is martini night with special prices and entertainment in the bar area by The Nevada Trio.
The menu features upscale Italian cuisine with moderately upscale prices. They feature a fish special every night and their pasta and flatbreads are delicious.
Brio also features a Saturday and Sunday Brunch.
An extra added benefit of Brio is that it is located not only to good shopping at the adjacent Waterside Shops, but is also within walking distance to The Phil.
To Eat Well is to Live Well. We did both at this lovely Naples favorite.
Bon Appetito!!
